The Annual Maintenance Subscription (AMS) keeps your AVDI’s diagnostic and working capabilities up to date with the latest functionalities and legacy licenses, designated to the basic software.
An AVDI with active AMS provides you with a wide range of possibilities for working with many brands of vehicles, offering support for over 90 % of the cars, trucks, and other vehicles on the road!
After each software update, our online and even offline services get improvements, new functionalities and features. An active AMS will make sure you are just one click away from them!
The Annual Maintenance Subscription (AMS) applies to all AVDI users worldwide and is the gateway to the full capacity of the ABRITES products. T
he AMS is an essential part of the ABRITES ecosystem and a crucial counterpart to the AVDI, providing access to the following:
- All Online services
- Latest software releases
- Updates to existing functions
- Promotional releases and updates
The AMS is valid for 12 months and renewal is due on the date this period expires. Bear in mind that all Abrites special functions require an active AMS in order to be purchased and used.

- Key programming: All keys lost and spare key programming, and EZS password extraction for all DAS3/FBS3 Mercedes-Benz vehicles via OBDII

When you need a license for a specific task, let’s say you need to work with BMW vehicles, you also require an active AMS, which ensures a stable connection to our servers for all the background work and calculations your AVDI needs done. That is why on most licenses, you will see the disclaimer: AVDI with an active AMS required. Most ABRITES special functions, or licenses, depend on the online subscription. So, make sure yours is valid!
How to know if your AMS is active?
Open the ABRITES menu, choose a brand and see the upper right corner next to the connection icon with the bars. The expiration date is stated in a message there, saying AMS valid until (date of expiry).

AMS renewal tiers:
- 1st tier: $395
AMS renewal within 60 days of expiry
AMS expires and you renew it before 60 days go by for $395.
- 2nd tier: $495
AMS renewal between the 61st day and end of a 12-month period after expiry
Renew your expired subscription between the 2nd and 12th month after it had expired, you get the chance to reduce the price from $495 to $395 by purchasing an ABRITES full software package for at least one brand of vehicles.
- 3rd tier: $695
AMS renewal 12 months after expiry
In case your AMS has not been activated for a period of one calendar year or twelve months, your renewal fee will be $695. Purchase a full software per any brand (or completion to one) and get a reduction to $495.
Keep in mind your AVDI’s warranty expires here, as well. One year after your AMS gets inactive, your warranty for AVDI replacement is void.
AMS $825 option is no longer available, nor chargeable. All clients with AMS which has expired for more than 12 months (from 2 September 2024 onwards) will be charged with maximum amount of $695.
- AMS support option
Exclusive two-month service for clients whose AMS has expired but have a currently open ticket with the Support Team. They will assist for a limited time to solve the current issue you are experiencing.

You will want to make sure you keep your AVDI updated with the 30 day hardware synchronization and to keep checking your AMS expiration counter.
To check your AMS expiration date and to sync your Hardware: G o into your Abrites start up menu and then click on any of the vehicle makes/models. (Ex: Subaru, Toyota, VAG, Mercedes etc....) Once you are in the vehicle part of the software, look along the top banner section. (You may need to click the squares and maximize the screen in order to see the full display). There, you should see the AMS expiration date. It will toggle back and forth with the hardware synchronization date.
***Please note: The AMS expiration date shown within your Abrites software is in European format: Day / Month / Year !!! Please keep this in mind when it comes time for your yearly AMS renewal.
Purchasing the AMS gives you 12 months of access to the latest software releases and online services.
Your initial purchase of the AVDI interface includes one year of software updates for the basic diagnostic suite, tools and our online services.
The AMS allows you to keep up to date with software applications and maintain usage of our online services.
The Annual Maintenance Subscription is a renewable one year subscription. ***To avoid higher costs for AMS, please renew each year.
The Annual Maintenance Subscription does not provide any support coverage this is provided separately by the Support Plan (SPS).
An Active AMS is required to purchase additional special functions for your AVDI.
